The end of the blog is near and I would like to finish it off with one of the most scrutinized ideas in the world. Around the world people believe that we were visited by aliens in the past and they changed the course of our history.  From Ancient Egypt to North America the idea of Ancient Aliens or Ancient Astronauts has persisted. From Structures to famous people the idea of ancient aliens has been around. Here are some of the structures that have been scrutinized throughout history:

·         The Moai of Easter Island- They are 13 foot, 14 ton statues that somehow got on to the island. They are said to have been rolled on trees, but trees are not native to Easter Island.

·         The Pyramids of Giza- These are huge structures that are said to have been built in 22 years, but when the logistics are done one stone would have to be laid down every 9 seconds to accomplish the task. Even by today’s standards that seems almost impossible. They also align up with Orien’s Belt

·         Puma Punku- Puma Punku is a field of stone ruins that are scattered with giant finely carved rocks and is located in the Bolivian Highlands. These ruins have such precise workmanship on such a massive scale that it would've been nearly impossible without the help of modern tools and machines. These ruins are also over a thousand years old. Ancient alien theorists have theorized that extraterrestrials helped or supervised the people who built these structures.

There is other evidence that suggest that we were visited in the past by Aliens:

·         The Book of Ezekiel- The book of Ezekiel is part of the Hebrew bible. A prophet in the book had a vision of a flying vessel that had smoke, fire, and loud noise. Ancient Alien Theorists have said that this resembles a modern spaceship rather than a divine intervention.

·         Pacal’s Sarcophagus- Pacal the Great ruled over the Mayan city of Palenque during the seventh century. When he died he was buried in a pyramid called the Temple of Inscriptions. On the inside of the cover of his tomb he was pictured in a spaceship with his hand on the control, his foot on the pedal and an oxygen tube in his mouth.

·         Nazca Lines- The Nazca Lines are ancients designs etched in the Nazca Desert on a Plateau in Peru. These are colossal and have baffled scientists for years. The pictures consist of bugs, animals, and even "humans". They are so massive that they can only be seen from the air. The question is asked, How did they do this? These are so massive that it seems impossible to make unless done by aircraft. Why would they build them? Maybe it was a landing pad for a space craft

·         Vimanas- In many Sanskrit epics that were written over 2000 years ago and have references to flying machines which were called Vimanas. Ancient alien theorists believe that these are actually UFOs and the people from India thought they were something else.

For say you were to take route 375 or the Extraterrestrial Highway you will come upon a sign that says if you pass the government can use deadly force. If they were to us deadly force and something just seemed to happen to you your body would never be found and the media would never know what happened to you. At the top of a hill there are a couple officers that overlook all the activities 24 hours 7 days a week. There are cameras stationed around the perimeter. The interesting thing is that government never acknowledged the existence of the base and said that it didn’t exist when there were satellite images of the base itself. There are a few places where you can see area 51 the base, but you are under constant watch. So why all the security and secrecy? The government has revealed more information on 9/11, Bay of Pigs (Cuban Invasion), Vietnam, and Guantanamo Bay. Those are some of the most important events in American History. Many Americans speculate that they have alien bodies there or they are trying to reverse engineer alien space technology. Over the years numerous former employees have come out and said that they have seen UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) being reverse engineered. The controversy surround Area 51 really all started in 1947 in a small town of Roswell, New Mexico where a rancher sudden explosion had happend. Mac Brazel who owned the ranch where the supposed UFO crashed went out to check for anything and found debris with weird symbols on a material that seemed like aluminum and called the police. Government officials came in and took all debris and reported "alien" bodies. They ordered him to be quiet and newspaper article came out saying that a UFO had crashed and government later had the newspaper article changed to say that a weather balloon had crashed. Now why would the government take away weather balloon debris because it’s just a weather balloon? Many times this type of stuff is followed up by a visit from the infamous Men in Black. These guys usually show up after a mysterious event such as Area 51 or the Mothman incident. These guys usually walk around in black suits, drive in un-marked black cars, and claim to be working for the US government. Many speculate that they don't work for the government at all, but are rather aliens. When they do visit they start to ask you questions and you already feel that they already know the answers. They tell you to not speak of anything at all. So why all the secrecy to hide this type of thing? We will probably never know the answer just due to the fact that this place is so secretive.

Sasquatch, Yowie, Almas, Yeti, Orang Pendek, Yeren, and Bigfoot are all names for an elusive ape like creature that has been seen all over the world. Here is the profile of the creature:

·         Black to a Brownish red fur

·         7 to 8 foot tall

·         Human Like

·         Bipedal (walks on two legs)

·         Sometimes and unmistakable odor

·         Noticeable scream that sounds like a cross between a lady screaming and an animal dying

They has been seen from Australia to Asia to Russia to Europe to the US. Sightings of hairy bipedal creatures as excited for millennia. Many of the legends stemmed from the Anunnaki of ancient Sumerian Mesopotamia. The Anunnaki were hairy creatures that were sent from the planet Nibiru, by the gods as a working force that would mine for gold and other things. The true is that stories of hairy wild men have been around millennia. The Legend of Merlin the Wizard was actually based off of a hairy, wild man. Bigfoot is an international wide phenomenon and there is a wide gap between skeptics and believers.  The things that many believers point out are:

·         New Species are discovered every year.

·         For Example in 2006 16,969 species were discovered.

·         Legends like the giant squid were discovered.

·         Not even 5% of the world has been explored.

On the other hand the skeptics do point out that:

·         That the sightings may be hoaxes.

·         That these sightings could just simply be misidentifications.

·         There is no conclusive evidence.

·         We would have discovered them by now.

·         If these are relics form the past, there is no way that they could survive extinction

What thing that they can both agree on is that people are around the world, from North America to Australia are seeing something. If anyone of these creatures has a chance to exist is the Orang Pendek from Sumatra. Sumatra has been largely unexplored and there is a good possibility that it could exist. I believe that it would be foolish for us to just right these creatures off.

Leonardo Da Vinci is regarded as one of the smartest men of all time. He was intuitive and creative and also a visionary. He created drawings of tanks, submarines, and even a very descriptive drawing of the human anatomy. There is still some mystery to the man even in a lifetime when he was a painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, and an inventor. So one must ask, even with all that what is there left to know? Well actually there is still a lot to find out about this man. For two years no one knew where Da Vinci was; 1476 to 1478 the great man was missing. Those two years there were no records of him what so ever. Da Vinci was an amazing artist. His most notable works were the “Mona Lisa” and “The Last Supper”.  Aside from these being the most notable these two works are the controversial and the most mysterious. For example the Mona Lisa is very mysterious. The smile says one thing about what she is thinking, but her eyes say something else. No one knows who the “Mona Lisa” woman is. Some people speculate that she is Da Vinci’s mom, Da Vinci’s girlfriend, or even himself. If you take a portrait of Leonard and Cut it in half and take the “Mona Lisa” and cut that in half, you almost have a perfect match and the it looks a lot like one person. Many of his other portraits if you do a certain amount of rendering, appears an alien like figure. In his other works sometimes if you do that same type of rendering, a knight like head could be seen. “The Last Supper” is very intriguing. There has been much controversy over the painting. In the painting the hand holding the knife is said to be Judas’, but now many people say that the knife could not belong to Judas, but rather someone else such as Peter or John/Mary. The painting really is perplexing in nature.  Some Da Vinci’s drawings are extremely strange. They look very extraterrestrial. The question pends, “What was this guy thinking”? Some say that because Leonardo Da Vinci was so intuitive and so creative at a time when no one else was that he must have had help from above. Maybe in those two years that he was missing that he was receiving help or training from aliens. As long as Da Vinci’s artwork exists the mystery of this talented man will still persist.

When most people think ancient Egypt the one image that comes to mind is the Pyramid of Giza. More millennia there has been some controversies or mysteries surround the pyramid. Some people point out that it was impossible for people to build the Pyramid of Giza. People who believe that it was built by and only by humans say that the ancient Egyptians used rocks or logs to push the stones up the pyramid, but if that is the case then they ancient Egyptians would have to use more rocks or logs then actual blocks of stone to build the pyramid. Here are some things to point out about the pyramid:

-It is so perfect that we wouldn’t be able to duplicate it even with the technology that we have now.

-It is made of stones where each stone weighs from 1 - 20 tons.

-The great pyramid consists of 100,000 stones.

-It is 481 feet tall

-The base of the pyramid forms a nearly perfect square (maybe about 2 centimeters off)

-It took 10,000 people per month to build the pyramid in a span of 22 years.

If you do all the logistics of the building of the pyramid in 22 years one stone would have to be laid down every 9 seconds to build the Pyramid of Giza. If they were to use 10,000 people a month over 22 years they should have used 2,640,000 million people barring that my math isn't wrong. That is a staggering number considering that there are about 4,247,694 people born each year in the US. The Egyptians would have used more than half the people born in one year in the US to build one pyramid. Some of the best architects today say that it would be nearly impossible to build that even with the most current technology. If it is that difficult today then how would the ancient Egyptians be able to build the pyramid? Some conspiracy theorists say that the Egyptians had help from other worldly beings because they believe that aliens aided us in building the pyramid. Here are some interesting facts about the pyramids that make the possibility of aliens helping more relevant:

The perimeter of the pyramid divided by two times the height would equal to pi (3.1416…) up to the fifteenth digit.

-The 3 pyramids of Giza are exactly aligned with the stars of the Orion's belt.

-The height of the pyramid (481 ft.) is 1/1,000,000,000 of the distance of Earth from the sun.

-The pyramid is lined up exactly with the magnetic north pole.

-The pyramid lies 31 degrees north and 31 degrees west, longitude and latitude.

Given those numbers and a fact to consider is that most of the major math formulas weren't created until the first millennia AD and the pyramid was built around 2584 BC it seems almost impossible to get those type of numbers. Even people today couldn't build a pyramid and get those types of numbers. One has to think, was it just the Egyptians building it that day or were they receiving help from above.
